The garden is full of dill this year…and I didn’t plant it! So much fun getting a gift from mother nature!
I always plant a variety called “Bouquet” which produces large leafy ferns and then fairly quickly pops into seed heads for making pickles. Last year, apparently I didn’t keep up with it and tons of that seed overwintered to be born again this year.
I love freshly dug “new” potatoes with butter and dill. Dilly beans and scapes. Dill in egg salad, cucumber soup, and of course potato salad. I pretty much love anything with dill!
Here are a few recipes to try using this delicious herb. Enjoy!
