Fall Has Arrived!

The wind is blowing hot and cold this year. Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind, it seems. We have already had several frosty nights, but then we get thrown back to summer and I begin to regret that I have been harvesting and cleaning up the garden a little too early maybe? I need to till and plant garlic yet and so …It will all begin again next year. Bigger and better! There’s always next year, as is my refrain.

The barn now has roof rafters and soon will have a standing seam roof and siding. We are SO pleased with how it is looking, and the view from the main floor is outstanding! We are hoping to use this barn for many things, one of which is hosting big farm dinners using our our own produce and meats.

High Ridge Meadows Farm, East Randolph, Vermont

We are inviting you all to keep an eye on this blog to see future goings on. The plan is to set up a place to sell retail at the barn; meats, maple syrup, produce, eggs, yarns, pelts and other farm products. Stay tuned!
