This thick, richly colored undyed yarn in “Lone Wolf” is from our Gotland/Icelandic cross sheep.It is a gray with slight tinge of taupe, resulting in a warmer shade of gray. Just lovely. This will work up quickly and be-oh-so warm! 3-ply bulky weight 145 yds/4oz skein.
This is a beautiful Gotland yarn with a slight sheen and a medium depth shade of gray we call “Grey Goose”. It has a silky feel to it and would be an excellent choice for a mid-weight sweater, scarves, mittens or hats. 2-ply DK weight 197 yards/ 4 oz. skein.

Hand knitted items using this traditional Icelandic yarn will have great breathability and insulating properties. Wonderful for making long wearing and sweaters which are warm and weather resistant as well as many other garments. Icelandic Lopi is a fabulous yarn for felting! I love to knit mittens in a larger size and then felt them in the wash. The fiber tightens to produce a super thick and super durable mitten that will keep hands toasty warm!
